Mar 13 The Transitional Piece

Last week I went on an unplanned blogging break and it was seriously awesome. I had lots going on at work, it rained half the week so it was hard to get photos, and in general I was feeling pretty burnt out. I was stressing about getting posts up, getting to the gym, getting everything done at work, getting things done at home, and everything else that comes along with life, when I decided to take a few things off my plate for the week and took a blog and social media break. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and do what's good for you. The world will not end if you don't post for a week (or whatever else is stressing you out), and your wellbeing is much more important! It's always a good idea to take some time for yourself.

On another note, I purchased this jacket recently and have used it so much more than I thought I would! It's the perfect topper for those in-between days where it's too warm for a coat but too cold to go without anything. I also love how it's long enough to wear with dresses and skirts. It was a surprisingly good purchase for me! Has there been anything like that you've purchased lately? You didn't think you'd wear it as much as you have been?
