can't get enough of velvet. It's so soft and warm. When I saw this dress is was pretty much love at first sight.
I paired this blazer with some other masculine-inspired pieces (the pants and shoes), but kept it feminine with a hint of a floral tank top peeking through and the tighter fit of the pants.
Not sure why or how, but this past week (specifically this weekend) it was hitting a high of 60-70 degrees (yes, in December and yes, in Indiana).
There are so many great looks for less (or knock-offs, really) out there. I have seen a few while shopping around online, but thought it'd be great to put them all in one place!
If you want something, then it's worth waiting for, right?
My family is not usually one to get all dolled up for holidays (it's more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of thing), but I still love dressing up when I can.

If you haven't heard yet, Pantone released their color of the year for 2016, and it turned out to be two colors! Rose quartz and serenity.
