It’s safe to say that Meghan Markle has quickly become a style icon, and rightfully so! Ever since blowing up in the spotlight - moreso than she was before - her style has morphed into one that women of all ages can look to for inspiration. There are a few key elements that she weaves into almost each of her looks that keep her style classic, relatable, and simple.
I can’t believe I’m only just posting our gender announcement! We have known for a couple months now what we’re having and I think it makes it feel much more real. We already have a name picked out and have just finished up the registry too, building the anticipation and excitement even more!
I'm pretty sure this is one of my first yellow dresses, and it's definitely the first yellow sequin dress! It's under $50 as well - a great price to try it but without fully investing.
The beaded details on this skirt are of course what caught my eye, and I love the neutral colors! It is made incredibly well, as Club Monaco items usually are. I have fallen in love with CM's skirts lately - they are great classics, but have a fun twist to keep it modern like ruffles, layers, and fringe.
I'm pretty sure the last thing I need is another striped tee. Yet here I am, buying another.
This dress immediately caught my eye online because of its simplicity with a twist. I'd say that's how I'd describe my style: classic and simple with something fun thrown in.
Isn't this coat just darling?! Bell sleeves are very much "in" right now, as well as anything blush, so this is just the perfect combo.
As a fashion blogger (and a woman) I feel pressure to always be wearing the trendiest looks. But I want to be the one to say that it's okay to not like a certain trend and it's okay to not participate.
I love my dresses and love finding ways to incorporate them in my style every day of the year. Living in the Midwest, it's not necessarily easy to wear dresses in fall or winter and while I will suck it up to look cute, sometimes you need a little something more.
I honestly don't know how this rule about "no white after Labor Day" came about, because isn't it always after Labor Day? September 4th this year was still technically after Labor Day 2015.
