Travel à la Mode: One Night in Norway

You have probably seen on my Instagram or from what I've said here that we recently got back from our trip to Norway, Iceland, Scottish Isles, and Denmark. I'm going to share Part 1 of the trip today and what we did in Norway! It was a gorgeous, amazing country and I'm so excited to share some photos.

Our first stop was in Bergen, Norway and we went immediately to the Bergen railway on the Norway in a Nutshell tour. We only had a day in Bergen, but we decided we would rather see the Fjords than a city, also considering we would be in a city the next day. We toured through Nærøyfjord and the Aurlandsfjord before reaching Flåm and riding the Flåm railway.

After the Flåm railway we hopped back on the Bergen railway to make it back toward Bergen. Along the way the train stopped at a gorgeous waterfall for us to take some pictures! This country just has amazing scenery around every corner. I tried to scale down some photos just so it wouldn't be too long of a post!

We wandered through Bergen and had some dinner before boarding the Hurtigruten for an overnight ship ride to Ålesund. The sunset that night was absolutely stunning!

The next morning we arrived in Ålesund where we climbed the 418 stairs up to the Fjellstua Viewpoint for an amazing view of the city. Totally worth the calf aches I had the next few days! The weather was actually pretty decent in Norway with temperatures from the low 60's to low 70's.

I hoped you enjoyed this little snippet of our trip to Norway! Have any of you been? It's definitely a country I would go back to. You can shop some of the items I wore on the trip below.
