New Beauty Loves
It's been a hot minute since I've shared some of my favorite "new" beauty products. I put new in quotes because while these are new for me, some are definitely not new products. All of these I've tried and was so impressed they were immediately put into my daily routine. Sometimes I will get something new and it takes a few months and a few tries for me to fall in love, but these were love-at-first-use kinds of products. Do you use and love these products? Or not love? Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
Kiehl's Ultra Face Cream
I had been on the hunt for a great daily moisturizer for a while - one that was really moisturizing but not oily, and one that dried quickly and made my skin feel great. I saw that Sephora had recently introduced Kiehl's, and that they had a 5-star moisturizer. Jackpot! It does all that I described and more - definitely deserving of the 5 stars. However, I feel like a better description of this is a mix between a cream and a gel, due to the consistency. That's not a negative comment, but just an observation. This is a perfect daily and year-round moisturizer that I can't recommend enough! Get it here or here!
Darphin Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum
This stuff smells amazing, feels amazing, and does amazing things to my skin. It is very appropriately named as a soothing serum. My skin has been pretty sensitive lately due to being a little overzealous with new skin products, but it feels even better than normal when I use this serum. It's not at all oily and dries quickly, which I love with my combo-oily skin. A nice way to add a little French to your life. Get it here!
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil
Mmm I think the theme of this roundup is products that smell fantastic! This face oil by Biossance is of course no exception. It's no secret that you can always use extra Vitamin C for your face, and the fact that this one smells like rose is extra awesome. It's a subtle scent, and not at all overpowering. I put this oil on at night right before I put on moisturizer, and when I wake up my face just glows. You guys have to test it out and let me know what you think! Do any of you already use this? GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum
I have mentioned before how I have nice short lashes and so when I saw that GrandeLASH had a 5-star reviewed lash-enhancing serum, I was all in. You put it on every night on your upper lash line like you would a liquid eyeliner, and over time it helps your lashes grow longer and fuller. I've noticed a difference in my lashes within two weeks and it's magical. I'm so happy something like this exists that works and is so affordable! You can get it here!
Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm
My all-time favorite thing about this cleansing balm is that you don't have to stick your face in a sink every morning and night. You warm this balm between your fingers and then massage on your face. The cleansing balm comes with a muslin cloth (you can get more here) that you soak in hot water, wring out, and then use to wipe away the balm. It's a much easier method for washing my face, and my skin always feels so clean afterwards. If you want to try something new, I highly suggest a cleansing balm! You can get it here!
ARCONA Cranberry Toner
I had started using the toner pads from ARCONA and fell in love, but felt like I was wasting so much product by throwing away a still-soaked pad after one use. Good thing ARCONA sells the same toner but in a bottle! Aside from being a gorgeous product (it's pink and swirly!), it smells like heaven and works so so well. My skin feels like silk after I use it, and I have noticed how much better my skin has been looking since I started using this toner. Get it here!
